Engineered for precision and durability, the Air Temperature Probe Sensor is specifically designed for applications requiring accurate temperature control or monitoring. Built from superior materials, this sensor is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of automotive, trucking, agri-vehicle, racing, tuning, and testing applications.
Key Features:
- Optimized for Air Intake Temperature Measurements – The exposed sensing tip is designed for engine intake air only and is not recommended for exhaust applications.
- Versatile Fit & Compact Design – Compatible with most air intake systems ranging from approximately 0.750 inches to 4 inches in diameter, with minor installation modifications. The probe features a 0.125-inch (3mm) diameter with a 90-degree bend, allowing for easy installation in tight spaces.
- Adjustable Compression Fitting – Includes a 316 stainless steel 1/8" NPT compression fitting adapter for secure mounting.
- Durable Cable Construction – The 6-foot (2-meter) cable is over-braided in stainless steel for heavy-duty abrasion resistance, while the FEP-insulated signal wires ensure reliable performance in extreme conditions.
